Pony Pals

This program is designed for five to seven-year olds

The Pony Pals program is for 5- to 8-year olds.  Parents or grandparents are invited to participate in this program by assisting the rider with grooming and tacking his or her horse.  Adults can help lead or coach the rider.  These sessions can be fun for the entire family.

Riders learn the beginning commands of walking, stopping and turning the horse.  Once the rider can  control the horse at a walk, he or she can move onto trotting.

Riding time will not exceed 45 minutes.  Participants in this class ride on lead line, lunge line or independent depending on their ability.

Riders selecting this program may elect a Beginner Rider time or a Pony Pal time.
