Test Ride a Pony

Does your child eat, sleep and dream about horses but you are not sure he or she should ride?
Would you like to see your child ride because you rode and enjoyed it, but you are not sure this is the right choice?

Join the staff of Pretty Pony Pastures on Saturday, June 15, 2013 when we open our barn to first time riders
and give parents a chance to see if horseback riding lessons is really what your child wants to do.

Your 4 to 12-year old horse-crazy child's hour with the horse will include:

• Grooming a horse

• Making treats

• Riding lesson

Choose from these sessions:

• 2:00 to 3:00 pm

• 2:30 to 3:30 pm

• 3:00 to 4:00 pm

• 3:30 to 4:30 pm

All for only $10.00!  Registration, by June 13, 2013, is required.  Registration is easy - simply call 248 634-7276 and leave your name, the rider's name and age, your time preferance and your phone number. We will call you back to confirm. OR send an e-mail with the same information and we will e-mail the confirmation back to you.

Spaces are limited to four riders per session.

All participants will receive an I Love Horses patch. (Patch design may vary from image on the page.)

A Release Form must be signed by a parent or guardian. 
The Release Form can be downloaded or will be provided at the farm.

Rider MUST wear long pants (non-slip) and boots or tennis shoes.  Helmets are provided by Pretty Pony Pastures.
